How CASCADE fits

CASCADE works alongside the incident system you already use, such as Datix, Radar or Ulysses, reading exports from it. It claims no live connection. Staff keep reporting exactly as they do now.

CASCADE sits beside your incident system, whether that is Datix, InPhase, Radar or another. It does not replace it. Your incident system captures what happened. CASCADE reads exported records from it, and from action plans, complaints and reviews, and brings back what you tried before and whether it worked when you are deciding what to do next. To start, a CSV export is enough. Connections to systems and the national Learn from Patient Safety Events service come later.
